We use CDA 220 brass (90/10 copper-zinc alloy) for jackets. It delivers stronger walls, better concentricity, and superior forming performance compared to the 70/30 alloy commonly used in lower-grade projectiles.
CDA 220 offers higher ductility and more stable grain structure, allowing deeper, cleaner draws with fewer splits. This produces tighter jacket tolerances, more consistent weights, and match grade accuracy.
Yes. Jacket thickness, concentricity, ogive profile, and weight variation are controlled through precision tooling and continuous in-process measurement.
All projectiles are manufactured in the United States at our Missouri facility.
We manufacture FMJ pistol and rifle projectiles across multiple calibers and speciality runs for OEM partners.
Material choice and process discipline. CDA 220 brass forms cleaner, maintains integrity under pressure, and produces jackets that seat uniformly—driving better accuracy and reliability.
Yes. Our projectiles are dimensional-spec compliant with SAAMI, NATO and work across all commercial and industrial loading platforms.
ROCK MFG manufactures projectiles and components. Loaded ammunition is produced through downstream brands and partners or through contract loading for qualified partners.
We run automated presses, precision core-seating controls, SPC monitoring, and full traceability for every production batch.
Qualified partners may request a controlled tour under NDA and safety requirements.
Yes. We operate an in-house R&D program focused on materials, tooling optimization, projectile design, and manufacturing process improvement to increase performance, consistency, and efficiency across all product lines.
We ship all projectiles and components from our Texas distribution center, supported by dedicated freight partners for domestic and international customers.
